The latest 1kV data acquisition card for HBM’s Genesis HighSpeed measurement systems enables very accurate and rapid measurement of voltages from ±20mV to ±1000V signals with a measurement accuracy of 0.1 per cent.
Particular attention was paid during development that measurements in categories CAT II 600 VRMS and CAT III 300 VRMS could be implemented that complied with the IEC 61010-1 safety standard. This was achieved by focusing on the electrical isolation of the individual input channels and ensures that users can carry very demanding measurement tasks with a high level of safety.
The 1kV card offers six input channels that can be recorded in parallel with a sampling rate of up to 2MS/s. The measurement accuracy is significantly higher than in standard solutions with sensor heads.
Suitable applications include power engineering, power electronics, electric motors and generators.
