AB Dynamics has opened an additional European office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.  The office will enable the company to offer an enhanced service that supports Germany’s position at the forefront of driverless car development.

“Germany was the first government to broadly legalise self-driving cars and we are excited about the future advancements that our new facility will be able to support,” said Klaus Weimert, AB Dynamics Commercial Director and the MD of the European Office. “Our new European office will provide significant support to our existing customers and technical partners in the region and help to further expand our list of clients, helping to inspire continued growth in this crucial and increasingly relevant market. Demand for our expertise and products has increased in line with the automotive industry’s awareness of the importance of ADAS and self-driving technologies.”

AB Dynamics’ expansion into Germany is the result of business success in the region. Initially, the Frankfurt office will be a hub for order processing of continental European sales. Over the next 12 months, additional product support, engineering and manufacturing capabilities will be added, supporting the company’s product range of driving robots, kinematics and compliance test machines, the aVDS vehicle driving simulator and ADAS soft crash targets.

The opening of the German office follows on from the recent unveiling of AB Dynamics’ new Global Headquarters in Bradford-on-Avon, UK.
