Praher Plastics Austria GmbH

We are specialist for production of technical parts made of high-performance plastics in Schwertberg, Austria with almost 50 years of experience. A second production site is located in Barrie/Canada. In some core markets, as Germany, Czech Republic and Middle East, we are represented by autonomous branches. Under the independent company name Peraplas, these branches offer close service including warehousing and logistics.

Our in-house research and development department cooperates closely with universities and research institutes. New ideas are first implemented in the heart of the company: the mould making department and increasingly with three-dimensional printing techniques. Our centralized procurement system ensures continuous supply with high-quality raw materials. Fully-automated robot systems, developed in-company, explore new avenues in the production of quality plastic valves.

Our product range
The product range comprises manual and automatic valves made of CPVC, PVC-U, PP and PVDF including accessories: ball valves (2- and 3-ways), wafer type check valves, butterfly valves, diaphragm valves, aerating valves and foot valves, laboratory ball valves, line strainers and flowmeters. Different end connections like sockets, spigots, female threaded sockets, flanges as well as PE-sockets and –spigots for PE piping systems are available for all types of valves. The own range of PVC-U pipes and fittings rounds off the range.

Custom solutions tailor-made
Within its custom solutions department Praher Plastics develops and produces functional plastic parts and assemblies for customers from the chemical industry, water treatment and water filtration industry, food industry and machinery industry.
