Procentec’s big product release at Hannover Messe 2022 is SNAP IE, an incredibly powerful software monitoring tool that slashes the time it takes to diagnose the physical layer errors of PROFINET and Ethernet/IP networks. This permanently installed solution is based on the same technology as SNAP for PROFIBUS, which was successfully launched last year.
“SNAP and SNAP IE enable technicians to analyse typical communication errors in just two minutes or less, whether they’re on site or at a remote location,” explains Global Sales Manager Jonathan Machin. “What's more, they don't need to be protocol experts to achieve such incredible results. We’ve harnessed an engineering superpower for the everyday technician!”
The advanced diagnostic tool, which incorporates self-learning features based on AI, is bound to excite companies with network reliability concerns, particularly those in the logistics sector, where on-time delivery is absolutely crucial.
In addition to SNAP, Procentec will be showcasing several other new and notable Osiris features. Osiris gives engineers a unique insight into their industrial network’s health and topology and allows them to monitor Industrial Ethernet, PROFINET and PROFIBUS installations from anywhere in the world.
