We design and manufacture high-quality products from our production facility in Birmingham UK. All our hazardous area lighting is tested in the UK and certified to UKCA and ATEX standards, which are recognised throughout the world. Petrel work closely with industry bodies when developing and testing new products – resulting in thoroughly tested, world class products that we are proud to supply. LEDs are now the norm in hazardous area lighting, as the UK government has started phasing out the sale of fluorescent tubes and lamps in September 2023.
