Harting has launched an outdoor version of its Han-Eco connector, combining high-performance plastic construction with weatherproof seals.
The Han-Eco A Outdoor connector provides standard A-sized housings for configuring robust and flexible interfaces in demanding environmental conditions.
This also gives the option of fitting pre-assembled inserts to the back of the mounting housing, saving considerable installation time.
The seals in the connector are made of a different material from industrial housings, using fluorinated rubber (FPM) for the profile and flange gaskets. This provides more resistance to environmental conditions in outdoor use than industrial versions.
The connector retains all the benefits of the Han-Eco series, including ease of installation, corrosion resistance, and flexible assembly options.
In particular, the combination of an integral frame and an optional integral cable gland minimises the need for fitting additional components during assembly.
