The precision pinions start at 0.5 Module as standard, increasing to 3.0 Module. They are all manufactured in-house to Quality Grade 7e25 DIN 3961 (AGMA Q10) to ensure the highest standards in terms of quality and finish. By manufacturing these parts itself, Ondrives can also keep a tight check on delivery times.
Two different materials have been selected as standard, 817M40T (28 HRC) steel and 303 stainless steel. Other materials are also available on request, along with different numbers of teeth and any other non-standard modifications. Ondrives says this means it offers customers both a good range of standard parts as well as being able to achieve those special requirements that everyone has at some point.
An ever expanding CNC machining and milling department, both in terms of adding new machinery as well as extending the current building to house more equipment and stock, means Ondrives can accommodate these requirements.
