PackOnea joint venture between logistics and industrial packaging reconditioning experts Werit and Blagden Packagingoffers uncomplicated pick-ups and is claimed to yield considerable customer benefits.

On being commissioned by a customer via PackOne-TicketBlagden picks up the IBCs from the respective customer on behalf of Werit.

By completing and signing the Pack¬One-Ticket the customer enters into a contractual relationship that requires the latter to comply with specific return standards. IBCs mustfor instancebe emptied so that only an absolute minimum of residues remains. The original labels must still be on the IBCs.

Customers gain an added benefit as a result of the PackOne-Systemwhich can only be offered by a disposal expert such as Blagdenwhich is authorised to transport and recondition all contaminated IBCs. In addition to offering expert return services for Werit IBCsBlagden also collects IBCs from other manufacturers andif requestedeven steel and PE barrels as well as small packaging material.

After the IBCs have been returnedused and new components are combined in innovative ways. While grid frames and pallets can usually be reusedthe interior container is replaced. For this purposeWerit has developed a PackOne-insertion container (Unibottle) which fits into all grid frames regardless of manufacturer.

This new universal Unibottle meets all relevant safety standards and is of course also available with UN certification for dangerous goods transportation. On the one handit is a flexible and brand-independent return system; on the other hand it is also a highly attractive packaging solution in the median price segment. The recycling of individual components also saves valuable resources while meeting all applicable safety and environmental protection standards.
