With the MC4-Evo ready, Stäubli is launching a new crimp-free connector as part of its original MC4 product portfolio.
The MC4-Evo ready is an easy-to-use and quick-to-install PV connector for solar systems up to 1500 V DC.
Stäubli is expanding its cable coupling portfolio and introducing the crimp-free MC4-Evo ready. The assembly of this new connector is carried out without crimping based on snap-in technology. This feature simplifies and accelerates assembly and installation time while providing safe and reliable operation for in-string and home run applications. The new MC4-Evo ready can be plugged in with the existing connectors of the original MC4 product portfolio.
Click and Connect
Crimp-free connectors do not require any special tools, as the contact is made by an automatically closing spring terminal. The connectors are delivered pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. Simply plug in the stripped PV cable, listen to the click, tighten the cap nut and the connection is made.
