Available for the EKF series of CompactPCI CPU boards, the C30-PATA is a newly designed mezzanine mass-storage module for rugged applications.
The add-on card can be populated either with a hard disk, or alternatively Silicon State Drive (SSD, aka Flash-Disk).
The 1.8-inch drive is safely protected by a retainer frame, for reliable operation under harsh industrial environment conditions.
Nevertheless the C30-PATA module fits entirely into the 4HP (20.32mm) envelope of the CPU carrier board.
