The new version features a broad range of new capabilities and enhancements, including compatibility with Microsoft Visio. This allows users to import business and technical drawings created in this popular diagramming program and turn them into process simulation models.

The new ability to reuse model components with referential tasks and paths significantly reduces overall model development time. Another time-saving improvement is the option to create model ‘snapshots’ with a new automatic variable data collection option.
Overall performance has been significantly enhanced, and the overall look and feel of the software has been updated. A new ‘Go To’ window makes it much easier to find things quickly. The ability to turn off entity merging greatly improves model run performance. Extended output options make it easier to store output files where you want them for easier comparative model run analysis; and an improved communication plug-in makes it easy to export model data to spreadsheets.
