Modular five-pole power connector is extremely compact

Harting is launching a Han Pushpull Power five-pole power connector with voltage and current ratings up to 690 V and 16 A, respectively. Extremely compact, this new connector is part of Harting's Pushpull family of rugged connectors for transmitting optical and electrical communications, along with signals and power, featuring IP65/IP67 protection for use in industrial environments.

The connectors are available with metal or plastic housings and assembly is carried out by proven crimp technology or the innovative Han-Quick Lock rapid termination technology.

Panel feed-throughs are available to bring the power efficiently into the switch cabinet or directly to the power or control device. Straight or angled male inserts can be used to conduct the power to a PCB for device integration. Coding pins for use in components on both the device and cable sides are used to differentiate interfaces with different voltage levels.

This approach to industrial device connectivity is suitable for areas such as process control and machine building, where the compact nature of the connectors will prove beneficial.
