Load cells for low-cost and harsh-duty applications
RDP Electronics is launching the competitively priced RLU and the high-duty model 41 load cells, both of which are suitable for a wide range of industrial, testing and research applications.Developed as a highly affordable tension/compression load cell, the RLU is manufactured from tool steel and offers high accuracy with linearity of +/- 0.3 per cent full scale. Versions cover measurement ranges from +/-2.5kN to +/-98kN.
The model 41 is a tough stainless steel load cell and offers a higher tolerance to a large lifecycle and linearity of +/-0.1 per cent. Available with versions offering a measurement range from 22N to 2.2MN, the Model 41 can also be built to order in special versions with different options and ranges to the standard.
Both the budget-priced RLU and the model 41 load cells use the well-proven 'pancake' design.
