Brushless servo motors are very compact

Jetter is launching the new JL1 series of small-size brushless servo motors, which are available in two different rated torques of 0.1 and 0.3Nm. These motors are suitable for use with the company's Jetmove 105 compact servo amplifier, as well as others. Both motors can be supplied with or without a holding brake.

Their flange dimensions of 37 x 37mm and their length of 81-111mm make the new motors very compact. As standard, they are sealed to IP64 and can be operated up to a maximum speed of 12,000rpm.

With the introduction of these two new motors, Jetter says its line-up of lower-performance servo motors is now complete.

Typical applications for these servos will be, for example, within screw capping machines, winding machines, handling and assembly systems, textile machinery, robots and medical engineering.
