Wolf Safety enhances its Wolf ATEX Safety Torch with LED range with the addition of new Zone 0 and 20 primary cell LED right and straight safety torches for use in potentially explosive gas, vapour, mist and dust atmospheres.
ATEX and IECEx certified, the new safety right angle (TR-35+) and straight (TS-35+) torches use the latest technology to give excellent performance, robustness and reliability for safe use in Zones 0 (gas groups IIC / T4) and 20 (dust group IIIB / T130°C), plus approved to Group I for use in mining applications.
Delivering a piercing white spot beam combined with a wide-angle flood of fringe light from a high power 'fitted for life' LED, with an output of up to 130 lumens of light for impressive task illumination in a hazardous area. Two primary alkaline D cells provide an outstanding light duration of up to 17 hours, a low battery power indicator allows the user to monitor the battery state as it diminishes and warns when battery replacement is required.
This high strength torch, available in straight or right angle body versions, is extremely robust and reliable, with proven shock protection, from the rubber armoured lens ring and end cap, even at sub zero temperatures. The toughened glass lens is scratch and chemical attack resistant and the full torch enclosure is sealed dust tight and protected from water immersion to IP67.
The compact, lightweight and ergonomic torch body gives enhanced grip and comfort for the user with easy single-handed switching, even with gloved hands, plus the replaceable high strength clip (on the right angle model only) allows for hands free use. All torches supplied as standard with wrist strap and clip ring.
