World forum for process engineering

The next ACHEMA will take place from 15-19th June 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany. The organisers anticipate similar participant figures as for 2012, when around 3,800 exhibitors and 167,000 participants flocked to the exhibition grounds. Every three years the world’s major fair for the process industries attracts exhibitors from over 50 countries to present new products, processes and services to professionals from all over the world.

The spectrum ranges from laboratory equipment, pumps and analytical devices to packaging machinery, boilers and stirrers through to safety technology, materials and software, thus covering the entire needs of the chemical, pharmaceutical and food production industries. The accompanying congress, featuring 800 scientific lectures and numerous guest and partner events, complements the wide range of themes of the exhibition.

For the first time ACHEMA is launching three focal themes. BiobasedWorld will present technologies and solutions relating to the use of sustainable resources and industrial biotechnology. With Innovative Process Analytical Technology, the organisers span the gamut from laboratory and analytical techniques through to automation. Finally, bridging the gap between zero liquid and low-emission production, Industrial Water Management offers solutions for a wide variety of regional and technical requirements.
