The new EPS-65S range from Ecopac Power are 65 W industrial power supplies mounted on miniature PCBs only 3-in x 2-in in size. Manufactured by Mean Well, the environmentally friendly units have efficiencies of up to 91% and an extremely low no-load power consumption of less than 0.1W.
Compact and reliable, they have a profile of less than 1U, being only 24mm high. Input voltages can be in the range 80 to 264Vac, while outputs are available from 3.3V to 48V.
The switch mode units are suitable for low-cost applications in areas such as industrial electrical equipment, electromechanical instruments, factory automation systems and handheld electronic devices, particularly where there is a need for low no-load power consumption.
The units carry a three year warranty and are protected against short circuit, overload and over-voltage. They are suitable for use in Class II (ie, no FG) electrical appliances, and are approved to UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE.
A 45W range with similar specifications is also available.
