The EBT-CA is the latest addition to Norbars compact battery torque multiplier range

Norbar Torque Tools has launched the EBT-CA, the latest addition to its compact battery torque multiplier range. The EBT-CA follows the release of the EBT-C, launched in September 2024, setting a higher standard in repeatable accuracy, connectivity and user control, with models available in 750N·m and 1,100N·m capacities

EBT-CA features advanced tool modes, including Angle mode, Torque and Angle monitoring, and Audit mode, a patented cooling system, and multiple connectivity options for repeatable accuracy and durability, while retaining the design of the EBT-C.

The EBT-CA is ideal for a range of bolting applications over multiple industries that require a tool with precise torque application, measurement, data management and thermal durability. The featured patented cooling system is designed to efficiently manage and dissipate heat during operation, ensuring the tools maintain optimal operating temperatures.

Norbar has designed the EBT-CA to inherit EvoTorque’s patented transducer control and ‘intelligent joint sensing’ technology, providing a repeatable torque accuracy of ±3%. This ensures that every application can meet precise specifications, with every bolt tightened to the correct torque.

The EBT-CA torque multiplier features a PC software platform available on the Norbar website, as well as a mobile application, allowing operators to communicate directly with the EBT-CA by connecting the tool to a mobile phone or PC.

Norbar has prioritised operator safety by equipping the EBT-CA with a ‘safe-to-start’ button that significantly reduces the risk of accidental activation and ensures operators' hands are kept clear of reaction pinch points.
