Conrad Business Supplies has begun stocking the new 279 FC Thermal Multimeter from Fluke - the first test tool to integrate a fully-featured true RMS digital multimeter (DMM) with a thermal camera in a single, ultra-convenient, portable testing device. It joins over 1,000 Fluke products and accessories already in the Conrad range.
The 279 FC’s thermal multimeter measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance, diode test, min/max, and can carry out frequency tests. At the same time, the integrated thermal imager allows the 279 FC to quickly and safely check for hot spots in fuses, wires, insulators, connectors, splices, and switches and then troubleshoot and analyse issues with the DMM. An integrated 3.5 inch (8.89 cm) full-colour LCD screen provides easy and clear viewing of data and images. This powerful combination ensures electricians and technicians can carry fewer tools and have a greater chance of identifying an issue wherever it might occur.
The wireless 279 FC model is part of the industry’s largest system of software and wireless test tools - Fluke Connect. Measurements can be wirelessly transmitted to the Fluke Connect smartphone / tablet app and automatically uploaded to FlukeCloud™ Storage, ensuring data integrity. Technicians can collaborate in real time via video calls, and measurements from the 279 FC can be combined with data from multiple Fluke Connect test tools to create comprehensive job reports.
The CAT III 1000 V, CAT IV 600 V safety rated thermal multimeter has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to ten hours under normal conditions.
