EKF has introduced the DN1-PIKE, a mezzanine card for XMC module carrier, equipped with four individual Gbps Ethernet controllers.
All ports are available via RJ45 front bezel jacks. The Intel I211 (option I210-IT) Ethernet NICs provide latest networking technology, for example power management for increased efficiency.
The on-board PCI Express packet switch is a flexible interface between one to four PCI Express lanes, derived from the XMC connector P15 (upstream link), and the GbE NICs (single lane downstream links).
The optimum performance can be achieved with a PCIe x 4 link provided by the XMC carrier.
