Process control
Metso’s high fidelity simulation (HFS) technology improves the performance of rock size reduction processes and the design of wear parts, reducing the specific energy consumption of its crushing and grinding systems.

OCS©, (optimizing control system) is a unique software package developed specifically for process control. It features all of the tools and functionality required to simplify and enhance application development and maintenance.

Innovative elastomer and composite wear protection materials reduce wear, dust emissions and noise, while OCS improves the recovery of valuable minerals and reduces the volume of process tailings and waste per ton of product.

Crushers
Nordberg SUPERIOR® primary gyratory crushers are suited to high-capacity primary crushing applications, while the HP® and MP® series of cone crushers are the preferred secondary and tertiary crushers for the mining market.

Grinding mills
Metso is the world's leading supplier of gearless AG/SAG and ball mills. The experience gained from installation and operation of these mills has enabled Metso to offer some of the largest and most efficient grinding mills worldwide.

The current design, VERTIMILL® and stirred media detritor (SMD) are for applications such as primary, secondary, regrind, fine and ultra-fine grinding and lime slaking. The VERTIMILL has proven to be a versatile tool that exhibits many advantages over traditional ball milling. The VERTIMILL offers higher energy efficiency which results in lower operating costs.

Mining screens and screening media
