Low-cost, Ethernet-enabled device for monitoring temperatures

Paul Boughton

Audon Electronics is introducing the H0530 as a low-cost, Ethernet-enabled device for temperature monitoring and alarm applications in server rooms, data centres and museums, as well as in medical and industrial environmental monitoring.

With a built-in temperature sensor, the H0530 features a measurement range of -30 to +80 degrees C, three digital inputs for use with passive infra red or flood detection devices, two alarm relay outputs, an LCD for local display, an email and SNMP under/over-temperature/humidity alarm, and a built-in web server for real-time temperature display and history charting. In addition, the Ethernet-enabled device is compatible with the Modbus fieldbus protocol for use in Scada applications.
