Mining Indonesia 2017 will be held at the Jakarta International Expo on 13-16 September 2017. It is Asia’s largest international mining equipment exhibition and provides a professional platform for Indonesia’s mining industry to do business.

Now in its 18th edition, Mining Indonesia is well known and respected amongst industry professionals.

The show attracts industry leaders and key players in the global mining industry to showcase the latest products and services in one venue, the Jakarta International Expo.

Endowed with ample mineral and coal resources that have yielded some of the most productive mines in the world, Indonesia’s mining sector continues to exert substantial influence on both the domestic and global markets.

17.3% of Indonesia’s vast natural resources include coal, tin, petroleum, gas, nickel, copper, gold and silver.

The success of the mining industry has contributed to the increase of over 100 working mines in the country in the past 10 years.

The country has more than 61 billion tonnes of proven coal resources accounting for the vast majority of thermal coal production, with East Kalimantan being the most established mining area in Indonesia.

Investment for mining and quarrying sector keeps inflating year after year and the Indonesian government’s move to update stringent rules over mining permits could encourage investment in the sector.

Indonesia is one of the world’s largest mining sectors and the 18th International Mining Exhibition will reflect its importance.

The event will be a comprehensive showcase for the mining, mineral recovery, mineral handling and processing industries. Attending the show will be decision makers, major equipment importers, distributors and agents. The last event attracted 16,800 attendees from over 29 countries.
