The International Manufacturing Technology Show continues to widen its appeal to international and domestic visitors by dedicating 130,000 square foot of exhibition space and display to Hannover Messe USA, the newly branded North American industrial technology co-located trade show. Hannover Messe USA is organised and managed by Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA), the US subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, organiser of Hannover Messe. IMTS 2018 will be held on September 10 – 15, at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, USA.

“Co-locating Hannover Messe USA further diversifies the technologies that visitors can experience at IMTS 2018,” said Peter R. Eelman, Vice President, Exhibitions & Business Development at AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology, which produces IMTS. “Hannover Messe USA has increased its footprint by 44% and will feature approximately 500 exhibitors in the East Building. IMTS already attracts visitors from more than 110 countries, and co-locating Hannover Messe USA further strengthens our international appeal.”

“Hannover Messe USA’s trade shows will leverage the power of the brand by demonstrating the full range of Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions during IMTS 2018,” said Larry Turner, President & CEO of HFUSA. In addition, the show emphasises technologies associated with predictive maintenance, more efficient use of raw materials, faster time to market and other trends in industrial manufacturing.

“We also expect to extend the overall scope and global nature of the co-located shows this year by highlighting more exhibitors from around the world in our international pavilions, including China, Germany, Italy, Korea and Taiwan,” added Turner.

For IMTS 2018, the Hannover Messe USA exhibition will feature 4 co-located shows in the East Building.

Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives USA (IAMD USA), North America’s leading trade show for Integrated Automation, Industrial IT, Power Transmission and Control will be located alongside the Fluid Power special display area.

The 3 other co-located shows, ComVac USA, Industrial Supply USA and Surface Technology USA will take place alongside the event’s Digital Factory and Industrial Energy Systems special display areas. Educational presentations will be throughout the show floor. Corresponding educational conferences will again be featured at IMTS 2018, including the Global Automation Manufacturing Summit (GAMS), co-organisd by CFE Media and HFUSA, and the Integrated Industries conference, organised by HFUSA.
