Dubai technology centre opens

Specialist downhole tool provider, Peak Well Systems has opened a new technology centre in Dubai dedicated to its growing customer base in the Middle East and North Africa. The facility accommodates regional technical sales and engineering teams for improved customer reach, as well as a large assembly and testing workshop facility for after-sales support. Peak will also maintain a large inventory of rental tools in Dubai for rapid mobilisation of advanced well intervention equipment to customers throughout the region.

Peak’s rental business offers customers instant access to its SIM System tools for flow control and Well Intervention Toolstring products for fishing and well servicing. Rentals have seen steady growth in the past 12 months. They offer an ideal solution for well intervention work because these packages can be mobilised to the customer within 24 hours, reducing NPT and enabling operators to return to production quickly.

Paul Emmerson from Peak commented: “The Middle East and North Africa region is currently our fastest growing market, which reflects the uptake that our products are achieving amongst both operators and service companies.

Our new Dubai technology centre is an exciting development and we look forward to supporting our clients in the region even more effectively. Peak products have been highly valued in the Middle East for a number of years now and we believe that with an increased presence and improved customer support, we will be able to provide an even stronger level of service to our customers.”
