Combined pressure and temperature transmitter

Paul Boughton

The Model 7500-9000, from GP:50 NY Ltd, is a high-performance pressure, temperature and combined subsea pressure/temperature transmitter.

The Model 7500-9000 offers accurate, reliable pressure and temperature process measurements up to 25,000psi (1724bar) and +392°F (+200°C) with seawater submersibility to 30,000ft (9,144m).

Series units feature all stainless steel housings; SAE-SAE-AISI 4130 flange material; 718 Inconel wetted parts with optional Inconel or Hastelloy inlay; 4-20 mA outputs; ±0.20% FSO static accuracy (±-0.1% FSO optional); and an API rated flanged process connection, in sizes ranging from 2-1/6 to 4-1/16-in.

An optional redundant sensor and signal conditioner provide backup pressure and temperature outputs, in the case of prime element failures or cabling issues. Optional HART communication protocols may be further specified for optional field calibration and diagnostics. Units also include full calibration with NIST traceability.

Typical applications for the Model 7500-9000 include BOP controls, subsea wellhead and riser controls, subsea lubricator systems and offshore oil platforms.

All GP:50 pressure sensing instrumentation is 100% designed and manufactured at the company’s global corporate headquarters in Grand Island, New York, USA. Products are further supported by an experienced global sales and distribution network.
