Applications
Colder’s engineered, custom solutions improve the overall functionality and design of the equipment and processes in which they are used. Special product features include precise hose barbs for superior grip, built-in shutoff valves to prevent product spills and an easy-to-use, push-button thumb latch for quick connecting and disconnecting.

Colder’s patented Hybrid Connector technology platform powers integrated connectors containing paths for gases and fluids alongside electrical contacts. In addition, IdentiQuik Smart Couplings™ incorporate RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to automatically exchange product data at the exact time and location of connection. For users of Colder’s advanced coupling technologies the result is cleaner, faster, safer and smarter fluid handling. Specific applications for Colder couplings include:

Life Sciences

  • Colder technologies satisfy the most stringent specification requirements and are compatible with popular sterilization techniques. Applications include reusable and disposable connection devices in surgical and dialysis equipment, blood pressure monitoring and patient therapy devices.

  • Colder offers single-use connections for media transfer in feeding, harvesting and sampling applications. Innovative solutions provide biopharmaceutical manufacturers the ideal transition from stainless processing equipment to disposable bag systems, manifolds and tube sets.

Industrial

  • Colder’s broad offering of coupling and fittings options is found in many diverse industries. Applications include analytical instrumentation, printing and ink management, engine systems, biohazard detection equipment, electronic cooling and portable hydration systems.

Chemical Handling

  • Colder’s wide range of chemically resistant quick disconnect couplings and DrumQuik® closed chemical dispensing systems provide non-spill operation and improve employee and environmental safety in chemical management environments. Applications include water treatment, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) dispensing, semiconductor and pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as pump, filter and de-ionized water connections.
