Aimtec expands its line of AC/DC power supplies with the release of its 5 watt and 10 watt series of low profile, encapsulated converters.
The new AMEL5-MJZ and AMEL10-MJZ series features input/output isolation of 4000VAC and an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C with full power from 0°C - 55°C.
The product is packed in an encapsulated plastic case and measures: 53.80 x 28.80 x 19.00mm (2.12 x 1.13 x 0.75 inches).
The series carries universal inputs of 85~264VAC at 47~63Hz or 100~370VDC and features over current, over voltage and continuous short circuit protection with 4000VAC isolated input to output.
With no-load power consumption less than 0.3 watt, and efficiency up to 81%, these power supplies meet or exceed the Energy Star requirements for compliance.
The AMEL5-MJZ series meets the IEC/EN/UL 60601-1, 2 x MOPP and IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 safety standards, EN55011 class B and IEC 61000-4-2, -4-3, -4-4, -4-5, -4-6, -4-8, -4-11 providing easy integration in a wide range of controlled, non-life support and life support medical devices, dental equipment, instrumentation and industrial equipment applications.
