Nexcom is further expanding its range of multimedia panel PCs with the launch of the 8.9inch MPPC 0810T. Incorporating a 16:9 LCD touchscreen panel and rugged industrial motherboard, the MPPC 0810T is based on the energy-efficient Intel Atom N270 CPU and will support resolutions up to 1024 x 600. With its IP65 touchscreen panel, dual Ethernet Lan and optional WiFi connectivity, the slimline MPPC 0810T is suitable for a number of markets such as point-of-sale/kiosk terminals, home automation and in-vehicle digital signage.
The MPPC 0810T is based on the onboard Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz (2.5W) CPU with Intel 945GSE / ICH7M and ITE8712F I/O chip and supports up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. I/O interfaces include two USB, one audio line out and one RS232/422/485, while an additional VGA video output enables administrators to connect an additional display. Content can be updated via the dual GbE Lan or Wireless internet connection (via a mini PCI card) with storage via a 2.5inch Sata HDD or Compact Flash.
All platforms in the MPPC Series are fanless and available in 8.9, 21.6 and 37inch configurations.
