Hitachi Display Products Group is enhancing its range of industrial display products with the addition of a 9.0inch TX23D38VM0CAA TFT display module. Key features of the new display include the latest evolution of Hitachi's acclaimed In-Plane-Switching technology IPS-Pro, a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA), a long-lifetime, high-brightness LED backlight and an integrated LVDS interface.
The addition of the new TX23D38VM0CAA complements the existing WVGA display modules already available from Hitachi: the 7.0inch TX18D35VM0AAA and 8.0inch TX20D26VM0AAA. The new 9.0inch transmissive TFT display module also extends Hitachi's implementation of reliable and sturdy LED backlighting in medium-sized TFT display modules. The high-brightness LED backlight, which is easily adjusted from 0-100 per cent illumination using the onboard LED controller, provides excellent image uniformity and a highly impressive 800:1 contrast ratio while delivering a brightness of 450cd/m2 and a lifetime of 70k hours.

The TX23D38VM0CAA also supports an extended colour palette of up to 16.7M colours with a 20-pin LVDS interface that enables a high-speed, low-voltage data interface with high noise immunity.
Harsh industrial environments are supported with a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees C, while the TX23D38VM0CPA features an analogue resistive touch panel that enables graphical user interfaces to be developed easily. The new display module measures 218.0mm (w) x 135.0mm (h) x 11.15mm (d) and has an active LCD area of 195.0mm (w) x 117.0mm (h). The unit weighs 330g.
The new TX23D38VM0CAA and TX23D38VM0CPA display modules are supplied via Hitachi Display Products Group distribution partners and are available across Europe immediately.
