IP65 panel PC features high performance and a 17-inch touch screen

Quanmax is introducing its latest panel PC, the KPC-1790, a 17-inch high-performance and rugged unit with resistive five-wire touch screen. It supports Intel's 45nm Core 2 Duo processor with up to 2GB of DDR3 system memory. Powered by the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset integrated with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD, the KPC-1790 delivers excellent graphics performance and supports various display interfaces. This KPC-1790 has an IP65 front bezel design that enables it to offer high reliability and increased usability in harsh environments.
 
Based on the multi-core technology, the KPC-1790 can run sophisticated automation control and analytical software to increase operational safety and enhance manufacturing efficiency. The KPC-1790 offers all communication capabilities required for HMI with one Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0, one RS232, one RS232/422/485 port and digital I/O. To meet the needs for high-end graphics capability, this system supports DVI-I and HDMI video output.
 
In addition, an optional WLAN module and antenna for network connectivity completes the operator interface design for real-time data and remote access.
 
Offering high reliability and high performance, the rugged KPC-1790 is suitable for use in many factory automation environments. The KPC-1590, a 15-inch touch screen version with all the features and performance of the KPC-1790, is also available. Both models feature flexible mounting options, including VESA and panel-mounts.
