For water-resistant hydrostatic level measurement in saltwater applications, Endress+Hauser now offers a coated version of Waterpilot FMX167.

The new coated version of Waterpilot FMX167 rope probe is specially designed for use in saltwater and is suitable for applications on ships such as ballast water tanks.

Featuring an outer diameter of 29mm, it’s a suitable level measurement solution in the shipbuilding industry.

For maximum application flexibility, Waterpilot comes in different versions and with a wide range of accessories such as displays, power supplies, transmitters and recorders. With an outer diameter of only 22mm, it can be for use in water drinking applications and in restricted diameter stilling wells.

The heavy duty version featuring an outer diameter of 42mm is a suitable level measurement solution for wastewater and sewage treatment plants applications thanks to its easy-to-clean flush-mounted diaphragm.

Waterpilot features nine permanently calibrated measuring ranges from 0.1 bar to 20 bar to ensure use in all standard applications.

Reliable instrumentation is a must, so Waterpilot has been specially designed for a long service life with potted electronics and a two-filter pressure anti-condensation system providing excellent protection against the elements. Both waterproof and weatherproof, it provides integrated overvoltage protection to guarantee the maximum in safety and integrity.
