Ethernet switch is compact and cost-effective

Paul Boughton

The new Harting eCon 2160-A is a compact, robust and cost-effective industrial Ethernet switch that allows up to 16 Ethernet ports to be connected in a very small space.

It operates as an unmanaged switch in store-and-forward switching mode, and incorporates auto-negotiation, auto-crossing and auto-polarity functions that make it fully 'plug and play'.

A robust aluminium housing and wide operating temperature range (from -10 to +70 degrees C) make the eCon 2160-A suitable for use in industrial environments. Integrated LEDs on each port of the Ethernet switch makes network diagnosis fast and easy.

The eCon 2000 product family also includes Ethernet switches with five, four and three ports.
