Nexcom is introducing the NISE 3100e as a new, low-cost, technically enhanced successor to the popular NISE 3100 fan-less industrial PC. The NISE 3100e retains a number of features of the popular NISE 3100 platform such as the ultra-reliable fan-less design, multiple I/O interfaces and compact dimensions. However, with numerous enhancements and long-term support, the cost-effective NISE 3100e offers improved performance at a reduced cost.

The NISE 3100e is based on the powerful Intel 910GMLE and ICH6M chipsets that feature high scalability with support for various performance levels of Intel Pentium-M and Celeron M processors. In line with market trends, NISE 3100e offers a number of enhanced features not previously available on the original NISE 3100 at no extra cost. For instance, the memory module has been upgraded from DDR to DDR2, the IDE HDD has been replaced by a SATA HDD and the platform now supports Gigabit Ethernet LAN connection. In addition, the NISE3100e series still provides exceptional expansion capability by offering one PCI, two PCI slots or one Combo.

Utilising the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900, the NISE 3100e boasts an exceptional graphics capability/3D performance. Like its predecessor, the NISE 3100e supports a wide range of voltage inputs from 16V DC to 30V DC, the mainstream voltage range in the industrial automatic market. In addition, the NISE 3100e supports various embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows XP embedded and Linux.

The NISE3100e is said to be an excellent computing platform for various industrial applications including automation, control, vending machines, self-service kiosks or infotainment machines.
