We are offering careers in the following areas:
• Interpretation Geoscientists
Aim to maximize the value of oil and gas fields from licensing and exploration, through development, production and abandonment. Using sub-surface expertise, you will help clients find reserves faster, accelerate production, delineate further reserves and lower the cost of production.
• Geoscience and Engineering
Assist the PGS business and operational units in delivering geophysically sound and innovative solutions for acquisition and processing of seismic data. Develop and support PGS proprietary technology and provide geophysical services like survey planning, feasibility studies and geophysical analysis.
• Data Processing
Engage in challenging projects with varying geographical, geological and geophysical scenarios. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the data processing geophysicists deliver leading edge seismic processing services, tailored to the clients’ needs.
• Field Crew – Marine
Work offshore either as a Geophysicist, Observer, Navigator or Mechanic. For all field roles you need to combine a technical education with a hands-on, practical approach. Intensive but offers lots of free time and a chance to see the world while building your career.
• Field Crew – Onshore
Work onshore either as a Mechanic, Observer or Surveyor. A varied work environment on three continents comprising of tropical jungle, desert, mountains, arctic and swamp make for an exciting, adventurous career for those willing to travel.
