Anti-graffiti varnishes for permanent protection of large vehicles
Numerous large businesses have become intensively involved in the development and introduction of varnishing systems in protection against graffiti vandalism in the area of public passenger transport. The Mader Lacke Group has developed various concepts in this area.
These include:
* Permanent protection systems. Top coating varnishing systems on the basis of highly integrated polyurethanes with high resistance against organic solvents/graffiti cleaners; 'easy to clean' effect to simplify elimination of traces from vandalism.
* Temporary protection systems. Protection varnishes that serve as temporary coats and are removed together with the graffiti.
The dramatic increase in damage from vandalism - and also variations in the operating terms of the operating authorities concerned - have generated the necessity of introducing a series of individual solutions.
Even products that can be dilutedwith water with an anti-graffiti performance are now available in the water-based varnish assortment of the Mader Group.
The huge cost for the removing damage from vandalism has led to testing of technological alternative systems.
A number of extensive studies intoso-called nano-coating technologies or polysiloxane solutions have been carried out and are at the experimental stage of technological application.
