The floor - from Polyflor Ltd - is heavy duty sheet vinyl which is hard wearing, fire and slip resistant. It is designed to encompass the growing trend for interior decoration to reflect corporate styling. There are 22 colour options. Customised designs and logos can also be inset in the flooring.
Polyflor Voyager incorporates quartz crystals and silicon carbide and aluminium particles throughout the full thickness of the product for enhanced slip-resistance. The colour choice also means that contrasting shades can be used in different areas to assist visually impaired passengers.
The flooring complies with national and international fire standards set by rail authorities. It has zero flame spread when ignited, meets low smoke and toxicity emission requirements and conforms to a variety of fire performance tests, including DIN5513-SFS and BS6853: 1999 - Class 1b. m
