Reduce downtime and save costs with dual output drawworks encoder

Drawworks applications can be very demanding on encoders, with continual vibration, high shock and ever-present dirt, debris, oil and moisture. Drawworks encoders are specifically designed to work in this type of application. Hard-anodised metal housing, sealed connector, dual bearings and shaft seals for NEMA4 and 13 (IP65) ratings all add up to a very rugged encoder that will survive in this harsh environment.

New dual output drawworks encoders can provide your drawworks application. The dual output feature can provide redundant encoder signals to ensure maximum control system reliability. This feature uses two sets of internal electronics to send identical isolated output signals to two separate outputs. If one output becomes electrically damaged, simply move the cable from one connector to the other. Downtime is minutes, not hours or days.
