Oil-free compressors for LNG plant

Both units will operate alternatively to support testing and commissioning of a two train LNG processing plant; with each train having a capacity of 3.8 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

With both compressors installed in March 2008 commissioning of the train is expected to take up to 12 months.

Supporting the rental award Atlas Copco Specialty Rental has also supplied three operators to operate and maintain the rental units 24/7 to ensure trouble-free operation and total customer satisfaction.

Both PTS 916 oil free compressors and desiccant dryer were shipped from Atlas Copco Specialty Rental’s Asian hub operation in Singapore. o
