Atex approved hygrometer
The SADP hygrometer has been awarded ATEX certification, the new European standard of intrinsic safety which came into force on the 1st July 2003.
This highly portable meter is battery powered and indicates both dewpoint temperatures and water vapour to less than one part per million in very 'dry' air or gas.
The self extending head allows up to 20litres a minute flow for clearing the air supply pipe work without wetting the test chamber, and the automatic dry down action of the head ensures an accurate one second response from the sensor.
At the heart of the SADP is Shaw's gold plated molecular sieve moisture sensor with it's 24ct. pure gold internal filter, a sensor with a rapid response from wet to dry in either still or flowing air/gas.
Each ATEX approved SADP hygrometer is supplied accurately calibrated, ready for use with three weeks of daily laboratory checks having been undertaken to stringent ISO9001:2000 quality controls.
The range of models available include the SADPG (Fig.1.) with a range - 80/0 degrees dewpoint, the SADPP - 100/0 degrees dewpoint and the SADPR - 80/-20 degrees dewpoint. Each hygrometer comes with a quality carrying case, tools, circular slide rule and Shaw's two year, no quibble, meter and sensor guarantee.
