HydroSele is a split-type cartridge seal for Francis and Kaplan shafts. Simple to install and adjustment free, this high-integrity system comes with an extended three-year guarantee, subject to agreed operational parameters.

After three years’ operation, economical on-site refurbishment will return the unit to good-as-new condition in just a few hours, minimising plant downtime and maintenance costs.

Solosele KB Hydro is the long-term sealing solution for Kaplan blade roots. A back-to-back arrangement out performs multi-lip seals to keep lubricant in the system and prevent the ingress of water and particles. It proves particularly effective on worn equipment where the blade root rotates out-of-true or runs on worn bearings.
