The new era of tailor-made micro drives

Vacon has introduced what it says is one of the smallest drive families in the market today, the new Vacon10. Tailored to meet various customer needs, it offers features such as integrated EMC filters, intelligent navigation and a versatile application interface. The first micro drive is designed especially for OEM customers.

“The Vacon 10 family is the first member of our new product range. It offers great flexibility in meeting customer control requirements, and excellent opportunities to find new business in the very competitive and rapidly growing micro drives market,” says Mr Heikki Hiltunen, Executive Vice President, Vacon.

The Vacon10 family ranges from 0.25kW to 5.5kW. Reliable and of high quality, the Vacon10 ensures fault-free running time and uninterrupted production process. Typical applications include pumps and fans, material handling, conveyors, automatic doors and gates.
