The LSCF cathode

LSCF is a relatively new material and over the past ten years or so been the subject of research in many countries, particularly the USA, mainly into its potential use as a cathode in fuel cells. A search on the US Department of Energy's website (http://www.energy.gov/index.htm) gives a good idea of the interest that LSCF is still arousing in the energy community. Similarly, there are many companies taking advantage of this aspect of the material's behaviour.
