Enhanced power supply demands

Erskine Systems has enhanced its power supply offering to meet the demands of a growing number of technology companies whose requirements extend beyond standard power supply products.

This diversification of product range has enabled Erskine to expand its customer base to sectors which include broadcast, audio and video processing, telecom, information and communication technology, robotics, electronic data processing. Examples of commissions include:
* A form, fit and function replacement of a 2.8kW power supply for a laser application.
* A form, fit and function replacement of a 5.6kW power supply for a telecom application.
* A 60W, multi-output power supply and battery charger with an on-board dc-dc converter providing an isolated, battery-backed power rail.
* A 150W power supply optimised for driving large, dc ventilation fans.
* A 300W dual (mains or dc) input power supply optimised for driving dc ventilation fans.
Commissioning a custom power supply results in an optimised end product that is more competitive in the market place, without the need for costly in-house facilities and overheads. The life of a product can also be extended by creating compatible replacements for obsolescent power supplies.
