Capacitive displacement measurement system with miniature controller

The non-contact, capacitive miniature displacement measurement system has been specially developed for applications requiring integration into machines and systems. All electrically conducting materials can be used as targets.

The capacitive measurement principle ensures high accuracy and stability of the measurement results. Typical applications are found in positioning tasks, wear measurement, the measurement of gaps, offsets, roundness and many other features.

The capacitive measuring principle specially developed by Micro-Epsilon facilitates a fast change of sensors in just a few seconds. The simple change of sensors of the same type and the interchange of different capaNCDT controllers is easily carried out without calibration, whereas conventional systems must in this respect be subjected to complicated calibration and linearisation.
