Single source for soft start options

For the starting and stopping of pumps, compressors, conveyors, mixers, fans and many other fixed speed applications, soft starts offer by far the most functionally appropriate and cost effective solution. Which is why Softstart UK has introduced a packages of soft starts.

Manufactured by Solcon Industries, the soft start range models to meet low/medium voltage application requirements right through to high voltage application requirements. Low voltage starters cover ratings from 8A to 1800A and in voltages spanning 220-600Vac and 220-1000Vac, and are available as standard modules to be mounted in a standard enclosure, with options for IP54 and IP66 enclosures.

The low voltage range meets all application requirements with base models designed for ultimate ease of use, through analogue soft starters for small to medium sized motors, to a full featured line of fourth generation digital three-phase soft starters, including models incorporating sophisticated motor protection functions. All models feature a design that ensures performance and high levels of reliability in even the harshest of environments.

High voltage starters cover ratings from 1500-15800Vac, and are available as OEM kits or stand alone HV systems. These third generation digital soft starters are designed for use with standard synchronous and asynchronous motors, ensuring smooth, stepless acceleration and deceleration to eliminate current shocks on the motor and mechanical shocks on the load.
