CustomTools for SolidWorks is an engineering tool for item and structure information management. It increases productivity by making everyday SolidWorks routines easier and faster to use.

CustomTools automates SolidWorks implementation for example by assisting in creation of drawing templates and bill of materials.
With CustomTools, installation and customisation is done by use of user-friendly and trouble-free wizards. It is also possible to use pre-configured default settings.
The file translation operations and assembly based batch printing of CustomTools is combined as a batch job in which all tasks are automatically executed at one go.
The multilingual output which functions with the help of the database directs the language translations of different description fields concentratedly and translates the language of drawing sheets by directing the layers of drawings. In connection with the batch operation for example a manufacturing quantity and delivery project can be given output-specifically.
Moreover the values of combination fields can be directed (for example the norm of library components or the scope of the descriptions). It is also possible to include any other than SolidWorks documents to the batch job.
CustomTools improves different data management systems, for example PDMWorks. The advanced data search options of CustomTools can be connected to search for information directly from PDMWorks vault.
