Construction Chemicals forms part of the BASF group providing solutions for the underground excavation, mining and construction industry.
From surface mine development structures such as shaft headframes, mineral processing plants and ancillary support structures, the Construction Chemicals Master Builder Solutions range have products to facilitate the casting of concrete in addition to materials to improve the durability of flooring from reinforcement fibres to specialised coatings.
For the underground works the BASF range of MasterRoc products are available for lining and ground support requirements, ground consolidation, in addition to mine backfill optimisation products. BASF’s Performance Chemicals division offer products for mineral processing through to tailings management and water treatment.
Therefore BASF has the complete offering in terms of chemistry for the mining industry from mine development, mining of ore, mine backfill, mineral processing and tailings management.
Members of BASF Global and regional teams will be present to offer technical advice for sprayed concrete, injection, mine backfill and connect you to the relevant regional support personnel.
On display at MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2016, 26th - 28th September, at booth 1875 in the Northern Hall will be injection products for ground consolidation (MasterRoc MP 364) and void filling (MasterRoc MP 367 Foam). Table top demonstrations of these products reacting will be shown at regular intervals throughout the day.
Congress participants are invited to join the concrete spraying competition with the Edvirt 3D Shotcrete simulator. Prizes to be awarded to the top three sprayers at the end of each day.
