Standex-Meder Electronics has officially acquired the world's largest manufacturer of reed switches, the OKI Sensor Device Corporation from Kofu, Japan.
The product diversity of 3 leading reed switch brands – Kent (Standex), Meder and Oki - created by the combination of two long-standing partners under one roof gives Standex-Meder customers the advantage of an intensive cooperation in consulting and high-quality reed switch product solutions. Oki reed switches will be marketed under the new brand name Kofu. The name is the name of the city in Japan where the production facility is located.
