Qosina now stocks SMC series polycarbonate non-luer connectors from Colder Products Company. The SMC is a twist-to-connect coupling that provides a reliable and more secure alternative to traditional luer-type connections and will not mate to a standard luer.
The design allows for tubing to rotate freely when connected to the in-line hose barb. This helps to prevent both accidental disconnections and kinked tubing.
Available to fit tubing ranging from 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch (1.6mm to 3.2mm) ID. When connected, the coupling body and coupling insert measure 1.5 inch in total length.
